1. Who we are
universitiesofaustin.com (“we”, “us”) is an independent directory and information resource about universities and colleges in Austin, Texas, operated by Cronin Tech Partners LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the universities listed on this site.
2. Information we collect
- Info pack requests: name, email, optional phone number, university and program of interest. We collect this only when you submit a request through our forms or chat.
- Web analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity collect aggregated, anonymized usage data (pages viewed, device, country). No personal identifiers.
- Chat / WhatsApp: the messages you send us, plus a randomly generated session ID. We never see your phone number unless you write it.
3. How we use your information
- To forward your info pack request to the admissions office of the school you selected.
- To reply to questions you send us by email, chat or WhatsApp.
- To improve the directory (aggregate analytics only).
4. Sharing
When you request an info pack we share the contact details you provide with the specific university you selected, so they can mail you their brochure. We do not sell or rent your information to advertisers.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Vercel Analytics. These set cookies and may transfer aggregated data outside the EU. You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser.
6. Retention
Info pack requests are kept for 24 months. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@universitiesofaustin.com.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data by writing to info@universitiesofaustin.com. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA).
